New Theology Teacher Visits BGC

Church strengthening South Sudan Anglican International Development
Paul teaching the students

Paul Kayumba from Zambia is the latest minister to teach at Bishop Gwynne College, South Sudan, as part of AID’s partnership with CORE Training and Development to strengthen the college. Paul did an undergraduate Theology degree  at George Whitefield College, Cape Town, South Africa, where 2 graduates from BGC are currently studying theology, also as part of this project. Paul has a passion for peace-building through the church:

“I believe inside me that the church should lead in peace building and should clear identity clashes in community. knowing all of us have the same identity; belonging to the church of Christ”.

Students in Paul’s class

Paul has been teaching research method topics and says,

“My experience in class is awesome. As I am taking research method topics, I am interacting a lot with the students, teaching them how to collect data and how to analyse.  All I read from them is commitment to serve God and people.”

Please pray for this to be a fruitful trip, for students to learn much from Paul and pray for the Church in South Sudan to grow in depth of faith and be influential in bringing peace to the nation.
