This month 7 runners have put their lungs and trainers through their paces in 3 different races and raising over £4,000 for Anglican International Development’s work in South Sudan.
First on Saturday 3 October 2015, five fiesty supporters ran the Kielder 10k over the damp but pleasant terrain of Kielder water.
The next day our one exceptional woman, Kate Chapman, smashed the Kielder Marathan in 3 hours and a bit!
Northumberland Castles Half Marathon
A couple of weekends after the Kielder weekend, our very own John Inglis-Jones, executive director of AID, took on the Northumberland Castles half-marathon ending up at Bamburgh Castle.
Congratulations to all runners and thank you to everyone whom supported them! Over £4,000 was raised in total- a fantastic amount.
