Over the last few years, Anglican International Development (AID) has grown substantially in the support it provides to churches and communities in South Sudan. We have started a thriving microfinance programme, initiated a sanitation project which is having a huge impact, begun training 69 students to be health workers and are in the early days of a far-reaching partnership which is bolstering a theological college in Juba. We also have plenty of exciting plans for the future in agriculture, education and leadership development.
To support these expanding projects, we also need to develop our fundraising. We are therefore looking for a part-time fundraiser to join the team one day a week. The role would mainly involve applying for grants from trusts and foundations.
AID requires that all staff are committed Christians and sign up to the principles of the Jerusalem Declaration as well as the charitable objectives of Anglican International Development.
